Precise Cutting Tool
The Geotechnical Liner Cutter 1,200 mm (GLC1200) is a precise tool allowing tubes to be split for sample testing and logging. The GLC1200 utilises non-vibrating blades to cut open sample tubes which create a cleaner cut and do not push into the sample; meaning no tube residue will contaminate the sample.
User Adjustable
Easily adjustable to suit sample tubes with a length up to 1,200 mm and a diameter ranging from 70 to 120 mm. Adjustment of cutting height and width is quick and easy and a variable cutting height allows off-center cutting of the sample tubes. Cutting speed is also variable, up to a maximum speed of 2,400 mm/min, and is controlled by a potentiometer. An easy-to-remove, drainable, stainless-steel reservoir is located beneath the sample tube to limit contamination.
