Electric Constant Tension Winches

All Subsea Geo Tools winches are based on the same proven principle of a 100% electric drive train and constant tension controller. They feature configurable electric motor size and gear ratios allowing us to quickly adapt the exact design to the client’s specifications.

7.5 / 15 / 30 / 55 kW Electrically driven constant tension winches

100% Electric Drive Train

Our proven concept of the 100% electric drive train and helical gear reductor ensures the responsiveness you require from a CT winch, while drastically reducing the noise on deck and energy consumption associated with hydraulic powerpack driven winches.

Robust & Intuitive Controls

Our winches are equipped with simple and intuitive controls for ease of use on the vessels and are fully adjustable in both speed and force. Winches can be controlled from the mounted panel on the electrical cabinet or from one of the remote control options.

Level Winder & Slip Ring

All Subsea winches can be fitted with a user-adjustable level winder for secure cable spooling. Hollow shaft design allows for a broad selection of slip rings to be used ensuring the winch matches your project needs.

Engineered & Built for the Real World

At Subsea Geo Tools we design our entire project range with a focus on practical offshore usability, servicability and uptime. All Subsea winches are housed in a forklift and crane transportable frame with integrated ISO corner castings for securing to the vessel deck with twistlocks. The winches also feature all-round protective grating.
